iv. About the Team
Written by Walter Tyree

About the Author

Walter Tyree started debugging when typing code by hand from paper magazines was a thing. When he’s not working on this book, he runs the tiniest of technology consulting companies. He writes software and also gives talks and writes articles for others to learn how to write software. After hours, he likes to knit, bake bread, play with his dog, and dance with his wife. You can find him at his company website https://www.tyreeapps.com

About the Editors

Emily Wydeven is an avid scavenger of typos and grammatical errors. She has worked extensively in the tech industry and has also edited such varied projects as city recreation guides, college-level study material, and corporate acquisition proposals. She is a nerd for technology, cats, medical history, and comic books (among many other things). While her favorite comic book characters are Deadpool and Squirrel Girl, the character with whom Emily most closely identifies is Nancy Whitehead.

Matt Galloway is a software engineer with a passion for excellence. He stumbled into iOS programming when it first was a thing, and has never looked back. When not coding, he likes to brew his own beer.

Darren Ferguson is the final pass editor of this book. He is a Software Developer, with a passion for mobile development, for a leading systems integration provider based out of Northern Virginia in the D.C. metro area. When he’s not coding, you can find him enjoying life with his wife and daughter trying to travel as much as possible.
