Video: Juice Up Your Game

Ray Wenderlich

We’re making a few videos to highlight some of the cooler chapters in our upcoming book, iOS Games by Tutorials.

One of the coolest parts of the book is a couple chapters by Matthijs Hollemans titled “Juice Up Your Game”. They’re about taking a good game and making it awesome by adding special effects and polish.

Check it out:

All I can say is mmm, bananas ;]

As a reminder – right now we have a special $10 off discount if you preorder both of our new books at once. This discount will expire when the NDA lifts, so preorder now!

  • Will this book cover collisions of polygons and how to draw these. Rather than just a square / circle collision the roughy matches the sprite shape ?

  • It is good for the mobile apps developers. We must also try to highlight that there are companies like appnext, who have been offering high ecpm and providing international exposure. The fact remains that chartboost or inmobi is not remaining far behind
