  • Hello,

When I click on the iOS 6 update link, I get :

You are not authorised to read this forum

I did buy the iOS6 book though (and the iOS5 :-), and I am logged in at the moment I click on the link. Any suggestions?
  • Same problem as the person above:

"You are not authorised to read this forum."

I can see the iOS6 by tutorials forum but I can't find a post in there with the download link.
  • If you get that error, sign up for access here:

  • Hello Ray,

that first link helped - apparently I was not subscribed to the update part of the forum, after filling in my (exisiting) username and password, I got access to the download section in the forum.

thanks for the quick reply, and the update!
  • The update process is really a PITA. I really love the tutorials and that they are updated and corrected. But the process of updating is impertinent. I did it once, but now at the second update, I prefer to stick with the old version after 10 minutes of trying. Not Mac like.

I would love to see a normal user account, where every user has access to the latest version of the purchased tutorial. Not extra login and forums where things can't be found.

EDIT: okay, I finally found it... Sorry for the rant and a great new year
  • I've purchased iOS Apprentice Tutorials 1-4 Bundle. Too bad this update is not for me.
  • and, the two most helpful websites for iOS developers! Thanks a lot.
