About the Editors

Pinal Naik is a tech editor of this book. She lives in Bangalore, India. After more than a decade in regular corporate life, she chose to start working on her own to pursue her passions. She loves to create iOS apps from scratch to finish, using advanced technologies like Machine Learning and is the owner of the apps Xplooor and Alt-Selfie. Her latest creation is available at: https://apps.apple.com/app/id1542732315. When not coding, you’ll find her immersed in a book, traveling or spending time with her husband and her two super-energetic boys. She appreciates the unconditional support of her husband, kids, mother-in-law, mother, her late father and her team in making this book a reality. She hopes to inspire a lot more women to become developers and app creators.

Kenny is a single dad and experienced iOS Developer. He currently works with several talented iOS and Android Developers, managing releases for the adaptive fitness app, JRNY. He also currently works as a Tech Editor for the Server-Side Swift team here at raywenderlich.com. Kenny previously assisted various private clients through freelance contracts - sometimes developing apps from start to release, sometimes adding new features, and always wanting to refactor! In his spare time, he strums his guitar, tinkers with his 3d printers, and plays on his Playstation 5.

April is a former high school English and theater teacher and director. When not volunteering at her daughters’ schools, she usually spends her time being asked to pretend to be a unicorn, zombie princess or superhero. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, making pasta and exploring the Gulf Coast with her family.

Libranner is the final pass editor of this book. He’s a software engineer with more than 14 years of experience, basketball fan and player, and a decent dancer. He loves learning and teaching at all levels. You can follow him on Twitter as @libranner.
