Massive giveaway to celebrate the iOS 5 launch!

Update: The original first place winner could not be contacted, so I have randomly drawn a new first place winner!

As you probably already know, in the past month we have had a special celebration for the iOS 5 launch: the iOS 5 Feast.

The iOS 5 Feast includes a massive giveaway, where one lucky winner will receive the following:

In total, the grand prize has more than $600 in value!

We will also have a 2nd and 3rd place winner that will receive one item of their choice from the above list (except for the cash that’s 1st place only) ;]

Well, the iOS 5 Feast is now complete, so it’s time to announce the winners – keep reading to find out who won!

Drum Roll Please…

To enter the giveaway, all you had to do was send a tweet with the #ios5feast hashtag – and we’re pleased to announce that there were over 1200 entries!

We used our trusty friend arc4random() to select the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, and they are:

Congratulations to all of the winners! I will be in touch with you shortly to get your contact information so I can send you your prizes.

In the event that I can’t get in touch with a winner within a reasonable amount of time, I may draw a replacement winner to fill that persons spot (but don’t keep your fingers crossed because I’m guessing this is unlikely).

Huge thanks to Jake Gundersen who kept track of all of the #ios5feast tweets in a nice spreadsheet to make this giveaway possible.

Thanks to everyone who helped spread the word about the iOS 5 Feast, and we hope you enjoyed the celebration! Best of luck with your iOS 5 Adventures!
