Changing Colors

Because of your newer version of Android Studio, the default colors in colors.xml might be different. Additionally, your new project might not contain styles.xml, so make sure to create it if it's missing, or use this episode's starter project.

Hex (or Hexadecimal) means the values are represented from 0 to 15, using digits for numbers up to 9, and letters A through F for values from 10 through 15. Hexadecimal means the system is based on the number 16.

This course was originally created in 2019. The content and student materials were reviewed and updated in October 2020.
