Merry Christmas 2012!

1 min

Every year, we have a little tradition where we sing a super-embarrassing geeky Christmas song to wish y’all a Merry Christmas ;]

Here’s this year’s entry: “The iOS Christmas Song!” I apologize in advance for our singing; there’s a reason we’re developers and not singers :]

Don’t worry, we won’t quit our day jobs! :]

Keep reading if you’re curious about the lyrics, and who’s who in the video!

Lyrics and Credits

Standing In line at WWDC (Ray Wenderlich)
Round Moscone the line goes (Vicki Wenderlich, Ray Wenderlich, Steph Grimes, Shawn Grimes)
Everyone clutching their Starbucks coffee (Colin Eberhardt)
Eager to get in the front rows. (Gustavo Ambrozio)

They know that Tim Cook’s on his way (Nick Fulton, Charlie Fulton, Jack Fulton)
He’s loaded lots of brand new frameworks on his sleigh (Cesare Rocchi)
And every iOS dev will stay up late (Chris Belanger)
So they can submit an iOS 6 update. (Ryan Poolos)

Everybody knows that Auto Layout and Collection Views (Felipe Laso Marsetti)
Helped to make the season bright (BC Phillips)
Apple fanboys with their eyes all aglow (Matthijs Hollemans)
Found it hard to sleep that night. (Nick Waynik)

And so, we’re offering this simple phrase (Jake Gundersen)
To devs from one to ninety-two (Kian Azarpour, Soheil Azarpour)
Although it’s been said many times, many ways (Ray Wenderlich)
Happy Coding To You. (Vicki Wenderlich, Ray Wenderlich, Steph Grimes, Shawn Grimes)

Special thanks to Phil Hassey for the violin background music! :]

That’s It!

We wish you all a Merry Christmas, and thank you so much for reading this blog!
