Looking For 1 More Podcast Co-Host

2 mins

Update: We have plenty of applicants at this point, so are no longer accepting applications. Thanks to everyone who applied!

Have you ever listened to a podcast, and thought “I wish I had a podcast?”

Well, now you have a chance – we are still looking for 1 more co-host for our official podcast!

Being a co-host of our podcast brings a lot of unique benefits:

  • You’re not starting from scratch: You have an audience of 6,000 listeners per episode, a proven format, and marketing support from raywenderlich.com.
  • You’re not doing it alone: You’ll be working with a talented and experienced co-host (already selected, to be announced).
  • People will recognize you: Tons of people came up to Mic and Jake this year complimenting them on their podcast, recognizing their voice, chatting with them, etc – it’s like being a mini-celebrity!
  • You’ll get to speak with famous members of the community: You can pick out well known/respected members of the community you’ve always wanted to talk to and have an excuse to have a chat with them – an opportunity you wouldn’t get any other way!
  • You’ll learn tons: You’ll constantly be learning while researching for episodes, and talking with experts.
  • You’ll help others: You’ll truly be helping our community by showcasing new technologies and experiences folks want to learn about.
  • You’ll make a friend: Mic and Jake have become great friends over the years by working together on the podcast, and you’ll develop a similar relationship with your co-host.
  • You’ll get paid: 70% of advertising revenue goes to the podcasters, and 30% to Razeware.
  • You’ll have fun: If you’re the kind of person who loves to learn and chat about technical subjects, you’ll have a blast!

Where To Go From Here?

As I mentioned, we already have selected one co-host, who is looking to talk to people who are interested in the second and final spot.

If you’re interested in applying, please email me the answers to these questions:

  • Why are you interested in this role?
  • Why do you think you’d be especially good in this role?
  • What experience do you have related to this role?
  • How much time do you have available to work on this role?

Thanks, and I am looking forward to hearing from some of you! :]
