A tool you may find helpful while working with core data is this open source project called CoreDataUtility. It will allows you to view and interact with your core data persistence files. https://github.com/yepher/CoreDataUtility

This was an IMMENSELY helpful tutorial to get up and running quickly with CoreData and Cocoa Bindings. I'm trying to build an editor for my CoreData model and this is perfect.
It was also helpful to get the link to the app above (CoreDataEditor), but for $30, that app developer needs to create a 30-day trial version with Auth code or something. Because $30 and <= 3 star reviews aren't working in his favour...
