Great article ! Thanks for introducing parse.com

This is the coolest thing I've seen for a long time.
So easy to develop Apps with Web Backend now.

excellent stuff. going through it now. it does seem a little over the top to link up 15 frameworks or so...if you use parse does an app always need all these frameworks?

Great job Antonio!
Right now this will help a lot with my projects!
Scenario: Resources App - for ex. a list of subjects in a table view controller where each cell calls another scene with information about the subject selected.
Question-1: How much text can I add / store into the Parse database?
Q-2: ANy issues when retrieving text back from the Parse console that can affect the app performance?
Or, if it's better to implemented with Core Data.

Thanks for your feedback and thoughts:)

Just one question

I am getting this warning, what does it mean and how do I fix it it is in UploadImageViewController.m file

Assigning to 'id<UINavigationControllerDelegate,UIImagePickerControllerDelegate>' from incompatible type 'UploadImageViewController *const __strong'
.

Very Very Very good article.

This is awesome :D Thought I would have had to create the whole backend on my own :o SO glad you guys posted this!

Oh and Shakey that's usually if you have set a delegate to self but haven't put the delegate protocol in your .h file e.g. <UITableViewDelegate>

Thanks for posting this great tutorial! Since I chose to upload photos from my Camera app, some of them caused the program to crash. I received the following error:

Code: Select all
Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: 'PFFile cannot be larger than 10485760 bytes'

I assume this is because photos from the Camear app are huge and PFFile cannot handle them. For future Parse iOS apps, how do you recommend scaling our photos before upload while best retaining their quality?
