I was having a problem on the step to test the animations on Unity 4. The animation would not play and Unity's console had messages like the following:

The AnimationClip 'Default Take' used by the Animation component 'player' must be marked as Legacy.

To fix this problem, I clicked on the player prefab in the project assets and then selected the Rig tab on the inspector. Then I changed the animation type to "Legacy" and hit apply.

I am enjoying this tutorial, and wanted to point out a problem with a link. I'd completed part 1/3 a few days ago, and am starting part 2/3. I wanted to get a fresh start by downloading the "project where we left it off". The link near the top of part 2/3, which is to http://cdn5.raywenderlich.com/downloads ... mplete.zip does not resolve to a found page. However, the similar link at the end of part 1/3, which is to http://cdn2.raywenderlich.com/downloads/NBN_Part1.zip does work.
