iOS 5 By Tutorials Book update now available - all chapters now complete!

This is just a quick note for the iOS 5 By Tutorials customers, to let you know that the latest update to the book (v1.7) is now available!

The update contains the final two chapters you guys were waiting for:

  • Intermediate Twitter
  • Intermediate iCloud

The final page count of the book is a massive 877 pages! This version also has some fixes that you guys kindly pointed out in the errata thread.

You can find the download link for the updated version in the private iOS 5 By Tutorials Official Forum. If you have not yet registered to get access to the private forum, you can do so here.

I hesitate to call the book “complete” because we still have some technical reviews outstanding, but all of the content is there! Once the technical reviews are complete, I will send an email out to everyone who purchased the book with a link to the final version.

We hope you enjoy the new chapters!

Paper Books cost more then digital ones, They need to be printed, shiped....
And i think They are setting the ebook price now to $54 now

I think digital Books are better, since you cant loose it, it cant get dirty when your children get them in hands
And most important, you can Find stuf easier with PDF or ePub files

    But thats my opinion
    AppStoreMod
  • Good points AppStoreMod!

But yeah, we are hoping to get a printed version for sale on Amazon.com after we finish the tech review phase, because some people still prefer printed copies over electronic ones (even though it earns us less money). I'm not sure about pricing and details yet, we still have to figure all that out. I will announce any info when we figure it out on the blog!
